Homewood is only about 2 hrs away from me,its around the birmingham, al area. i need to go and look at it. he would prob not tell me where he lives.

I'd say it's worth checking out. It is kinda curious that there's no underhood pics after the emphasis he put on the motor. The nitrous is suspect, too. If it's true, I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had the spare change. I'd love to have a stage II motor, of course, and the '57 Chevy was my dream car as a kid in the early '70's.
