On a brighter note, here is a pic of the reporter that was there Thursday:

Should have shown a AARP card, I got in for free.......

Actually just acted like I was part of an emergency service crew. With the right truck no one pays any attention to you....

They needed your 18$ a day for two reasons.........

1-The powers to be needed to make a house payment

2-They needed the money to pay Red since they screwed those guys in TSS

Man, that pic of her does not do justice. All that I have to say is that in those black pants she was looking amazing at the track.

Yeah. I saw her, and she was HOT!!!!!!!!!

What's up w/ the $6??? I paid $15 on Thursday, and $18 on Friday.

I don't see where the $6 comes into play either. The whole registration thing is pretty odd. The registration form states that pre-registration is $25 & not optional. Then below it states that you do not need to preregister just to spectate. However, if you want discount spectator tickets at $10 each, you must preregister. It then says, "Please register early to save money."

Let's do the math:

If you preregister and purchase 4 spectator tickets for Wednesday through Saturday, it'll run you $65.

If you don't preregister and purchase 4 tickets at the gate ($15 Wed.-Thurs., $18 Fri.-Sat.), it'll run you $66.

Oh...you save $1. :p

You'd think being a card-carrying GSCA member would get you a better deal than that over the general public. And how do you get in for $6??

I have photos for you guys

I have photos of the ladies and they caught my attention -- well maybe other guys and they were like you gotta get a photo of those girls. The other girl along for the ride was wearing a see through skirt... not sure where to post the photo.

They were just as hot as the weather 90 degrees,

track temp on Friday was 109 degrees, will post to 2 websites

In TSS, they were down to 3 cars. Red Armstrong was the low qualifier and he deservedly got the bye run. The remaining 2 cars had to run each other to see who would run Red in the final. One car red-lighted bad and the other car also lit the bulb red. In all organizations i know of, the first to foul is the loser. But not at the nats.........Kip from Jeffersonville was the last to foul so he should have been the winner of that race...........but hold on a minute.........The gsca decided to give the money to Red and let the other 2 guys run again for 2nd place.......what a crock

I was there and seen them run. Neither car red bulbed.because both guys blew the christmas tree. Neither one got a time on the race.Yes its true one of the cars took off first before the lights came down, and both should have been DQ.They decided to let them run again. Steve:cool:

Not exactly right - they both red lighted before the ambers even lit, and neither got a time or anything. They let them run again, the winner ran Red, and Red beat him. Where's the crock??

This certainly illustrates your lack of the facts before shooting off your big mouth.:(

The GSCA did not "decide" to give the money to Red [who certainly does not need it] but the entire race was re-run and Kip lost to Scott who lost to Red.

Go to the TSS thread here in the lounge and you will see the FACTS!

Your other post in this thread here is also out of line. What other race events of this caliber do you attend for free?

Anyways, hey Nick I forgot you thank you for helping out at the track with everything. Next time bring a 3rd member for me.:D
