My power master started leaking so I removed the unit and converted over to a regular brake system from a 79 Malibu . I'm using a new billet vacuum block n I purchased a new master cylinder . The only part that's old is the brake booster. I've bled the brakes all the way around. My pedal is soft n the brakes r worst than the leaky power master unit was stopping . Oh n I do have a 215/220 Hyd rllr cam with 1.60 rllr rockers in this engine ... What could b the problem n what did I do wrong ? The booster looks the same as those I see on 89 turbo t/a s. My brothers car has been converted to vacuum brakes n his car stops better than any power master I've ever felt. Any helpful info or suggestions please.

Step back bleed the master, then rebleed the rest. Sounds like you have some air in the system.
