Well, I sold my 86 T today.:( I might regret it in a couple of months, but the car had more issues than I cared to work through. The worst was it was an Ohio car that was driven in the winter, so it was full of rust. The guy I sold it to is rebuilding a theft recovered 87 GN and needed a drive train, so he needed what was worth keeping from my T. The plus side is that the money from the sold T more than paid for my new girdle motor for the 87 GN.;) I hope to be joining the 10 sec stock block/stock head club by the end of the year. I've been scrimping and saving and buying parts for 2 years to build a bullet proof combo. I still have a couple of big ticket items (a convertor, injectors, FAST and cage) left to buy. I still have to do what I have left on a budget since my wife and I are expecting our first child in late November/early December this year:eek:   :D . Wish me luck.

I'm with you that restoring a rusty car doesn't make economic sense. If a car has to die that another may live, that is a good thing. It makes our '86 T-types even more rare, too.

Good Luck with the GN.

What color T was it? I have been seeing a charcoal grey one running around here gor the past 2 weeks, that I do not know who it belongs too.
Bubba

The car is 89 Ford Dove Gray:eek: . The previous owner painted it himself and not very well, paint was peeling off in various places:rolleyes: . I sold it to Geoff at Jackson Cylinder Head.
