My car sat for about two weeks, and when I went to start it the solenoid would click click click but starter didn't go... battery was holding a charge and even tried to start it w/ a jump but just a lot of clicking from the solenoid.

So I got a new mini starter, installed it, hooked it up, and.... click click click... no start or turnover. what now? thanks.

You have a dead battery or a loose connection. A dead battery will make a series of clicking noises, and a bad starter or a bad connection will cause one loud click, then nothing. Try and jump it again, if you still have side post terminal ends, (most of us do) it can be a real PITA to get a good connection for a jump to work. HTH!!

you are right, the battery was low. I charged it overnight and it started up just fine in the morning. Guess I did the starter for nothing. d'oh.

thanks
