Solid Lifters - Loud?

Anyone compare the noise from some noising 853 type lifters to solid lifters? I realize some 853 types are not loud but some are. Just wondering how much loud solids are and if they tickled the knock sensor or not.

Good question, but I think most people running the solid lifters are running aftermarket ECUs that eliminate the knock sensor.
