Hey guys,
I think someone mentioned this for a 400 a week or so ago.

How do you do it?
Obviously too small for the outer lip seal on a 400 direct or forward if left round.

Do you cut it to length, kinda ribbon it or ?

Any other budget tricks?
How about a 3 liter bottle.

I've been doing these things for 10 years as a personal hobby more or less and this is new. Though i would have to buy the real tools to do it easier than I do...
Yes I do it the HARD way...

Teach me PLEASE :)

TIA

That was me...don't ask these professionals about the back yard tools...they'll be ashamed to admit using rigged up stuff! :D

Cut a cylinder about 4" high from the bottle, then slit it so you have a strip. Then you can coil it around the seal. Actually, a 2 liter doesn't give a long enough strip to make it all the way around a 400 direct piston, so if you've got a bigger bottle, that'd be better.
