When i was mocking up the gn motor in my 67 chevelle i had less room than the gn. think the chassis is 6 inches narrow and the length from the firewall to core support was about 1 ft.... heres a pic.

I took the trans out today YEAHH.

And Grumpy it was still hot. LOL

anyways its going to my "new" trans guy (he is a Buick guy) tomorrow i'll post up what is found in that thing.
Hopefully it should be back in the car by Saturday morning :biggrin: which Saturday?? who knows.
Wish me luck guys.

BTW what else on the car should be looked at for maintenance and track readiness?

Parts of the trans

it had a plastic Bushing/bearing shredded some make shift stuff, eliminated springs and pieces of pipe put in their place. it was/is ugly

dropped it off tuesday he had the trans apart and called that eveningconverters getting freshened at protorque should all come together soon.
