I bought what I thought was going to be a .3" low/reverse boost valve from a local transmission shop. After receiving the part, I found the valve measured only slightly larger than my stock CZ valve (.283 vs .267"). This equates to roughly 10% more boost. Will I see any difference when using this valve?

This is a Sonnax valve and has o-rings to compensate for worn bores. I am a little skeptical about using the o-ringed valve in my relatively low milage pump. I have personally seen reciprocating o-rings wear aluminum bores due to the increased friction. Can I leave the o-rings off?

If you use that valve...

Folow their instructions to the letter.
We now make the int boost valve .400 and they are awesome...
And Ill bet that mine are half the price of the one you have there ... and you got half the valve size too... LOLOL :)

Don't be concerned about the o-rings.

They are on the outer sleeve which doesn't move relative to the pump, once installed. They are merely designed to provide more positive sealing.
