I have a friend with an '87 Turbo Limited. He has a dual cat back system with no cat and no mufflers. The thing isn't as loud as you would think, and I really love the fact that I can be half a block behind him and hear that spool-up of the turbo even if he's just accelerating away from a stop slowly.
My stock original exhaust finally gave out toward the end of last summer and I just never got around to putting a new system on yet. I've got a temporary rigged job for now.
I'm planning on ordering the Hooker system. Since it comes with mufflers I'm going to try it with them at first.
I seem to have misplaced my catalytic convertor.
My question is whether anyone on here who is similarly equipped (no cat and dual Hooker system) can easily hear the turbo spool through the exhaust. I can hear my turbo spool, don't get me wrong; but not through the exhaust at all. My friend's can be definitely heard through the exhaust.
