Hi,
Anyone have contact info for Southside Machine or their dealer?
I think subframe connectors would be a good first modification for my car, and want to check them out. Thanks!

Hi,
That's too bad. Used or fabricate my own, I guess.I have a buddy who's pretty handy with stainless and aluminum... Thanks Razor!

Had custom made SFC's installed about a month or so ago and all I can say WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!! All the body flex is gone, all the squeks/creacks etc while driving gone due to minimal body flex. And I can really feel the suspension doing the work and not the body flexing in each corner. On a t-top car this does miricals for sure!

Below please find links to pictures of the SFC's being trial fitted, done waiting to get installed, installed and treated with POR15 and finaly everything done with everything undercoated to match the rest of my car.

sub frame connectors

Thanks, Jan, for the excellent coverage of your custom sfc installation. It appears to be a very well engineered setup, with meticulous installation.Your fabrication man really knows his business!
I've done some homework since my original post, found that a couple of other setups are available. One, a cheap fix, apparently requires floorpan "trimming". I don't like the sound of that. Also, Hotchkis makes a set, maybe there are clearance issues with the stock exhaust, unacceptable for my needs at present. I'll keep looking, may take a stab at my own set also.
Thanks again for your excellent reply.

Jan - I took those promised pix this weekend (of the duct) - just got to get them downloaded and I'll shoot them to you. I didn't forget!!

Hey Dale,

Are you local to Houston? If so, email or call me. There's a couple of events coming up that you might be interested in and my turbo buddies are always looking for an excuse to go cruising and drink beer. HA!

Howdy Jan!

Houston is around 250 mile south of Dallas, around a 5 to 6 hour drive. If you can get down here that would be great! I could take you to Conley's and a few other places, drink some good beer, singlr malt scotch, smoke a fine cigar and tell some lies! Hey! It's uh Texas thing. :D
