Spaerco ic on 85 what kind of gains?

I want to know what kind of gains i would expect to see from a spaerco ic kit is it worth buying? Has anyone here installed one before how much inprovement did you see?

I gained a second, from 13.9 to 12.9. I really had some more room for tuning. I had really only made it one time to track with it.

Read the thread on the new hotair intakes before buying the Spearco kit. It might influence your decision.

i ran a 14.9 everything stock exept atr dp up pipe and eghaust, put on a ta 33 and spearco intercooler and only ran 14.8. I think tuning will allow you to gain much more but just throwing the kit on did nothing for me

Throwing parts at these cars without proper tuning is futile.

I went 13.9@101mph on an almost bone stock setup with 13psi so I would guess about a second faster than stock.

One interesting thing was when I had a stock longblock with a Spearco, headers, and TA62 turbo, at low boost (15psi) I was neck and neck with my friend's GN1 headed hotair with same mods minus intercooler. As we took them up in boost the difference in the two became greater with mine walking away pretty bad past 22psi.
