thanks Brad i tried that and i get no knock in park and as i said it is audiable knock i can hear it pinging aand knocking when it messes up that is why it is so frustrating because sometimes it will knock and sometimes it wont

I watched turbolink today during a few runs and like i said the only difference in the runs with knock and the runs without was the retard blm iac af o2 all the same just 1 run it ping and knock so loud i could hear it and the next no knock o2s were constant in the 800s during both times

i was planning on getting a razor kit but hell i cant even get stock performance levels out of this thing
wasnt stock boost level around 15lbs?

More like 12-13. There is such a thing as rich knock as well.
I got less KR by increasing boost and dropping O2's in the 790's from the 800's. (Had to take out about 10% WOT fuel)

Now, at 10 -11 PSI, no KR no matter what I do: Roll, downshift, mash pedal from stop. The difference between 12 and 15 PSI is that the MAF will go from 180'ish to the 255 max value. LV takes a hit and I had TT lower the PE value turn-on.

Yes, I get audible knock. All 9 BLM cels are 128 +-2.
All other numbers look fine.

If I "ease into it", I get minimal KR up to 20 psi, if I floor it, I get audible KR.
This is with Shell 93 (I do have the PAC)
FWIW, When my HG went a few weeks ago, it was at 27 PSI and about 6 KR (suddenly)

Edit:
Next thing to do is to spike the gas to about 100 octane and see what happens.

Based on what I have heard here the car is tuned and the boost should be lowered until you get a Razor Kit. When my car was pretty much stock it would start knocking at 10lbs boost. Good luck. Brad

Dont get me wrong i love my car and i real happy that some people can get 16-20 lbs of boost out of theirs but alais mine is not one of the fortunate ones that can attain such boost levels I think i will be able to get much higher boost levels as soon as there is peace on earth and all the planets are in proper alignment:biggrin: just hoping that this happens in my lifetime:biggrin:

Mike- All you need is a Razor Alky kit. They run around $600 and they are easy to install. I am an accountant and I did it myself. You will have to get a TT chip burned but you will then be able to ramp up the boost. I am at 20 lbs. Good luck. Brad

Knock!!!

Do yourself a favor get a known good working maf sensor swap it out and test. I have seen from personal experience a bad maf cause kr even though the #'s looked good at idle. The calibration gets off once the boost comes in and throws off the fuel curve. This causes severe kr at low boost levels.

I have a translator and a 3" ls1 maf . do they get screwey like the orginal Mafs if so what was the purpose of upgrading
