Spark plug?

I bought some ngk ur5 plugs for my car I read the gap is suppose to be a .032-.035. The new plugs I got are gapped at a .045 already. Can I just bend them down and regap them?

yep. Try your best to keep the side electrode square with the center electrode.

I tap them on my bench to close the gap or drop them on the floor by accident.

^ when i do that , they measure perfect almost every time
