Velocity is pretty cool, get to see how Lamborghini's are built and cool stuff like that.

I forgot all about Fuel TV, i did notice that some other channels are missing also. Saying "this channel has been moved" but that's it. So i haven't got a clue as to what they were to begin with. Still erks me, if they have to have all these different sports, news, and weather channels, Then why can't there be an option for an Automobile enthusiast genre?

I didn't watch fuel tv a lot but it sucks that it is gone. I can't remember what it was before but it hadn't been Fuel for very long. But on Speed it had really turned into Nascar ch which I don't care for that much. Drag racing hell yes going in a circle not really. I enjoyed Pass time, BJ, Gearz etc., all of the 30 min shows about gearheads. Here lately the Nascar stuff seemed to dominate the programming. When I first got Speed they had a lot of the 30 min shows some even from the 60's & 70's doing road test on muscle cars. It did enjoy some of the Nascar from the 60'a and 70's that they showed. It did changed a lot over the years.

Called DirecTV about the Velocity ch., it was available in my package but it is HD only. I upgraded to a HD DVR and I will now have the channel when they come to change it. I deleted 1 of the 3 boxes I had that was $5 a month, the HD only cost $10 a month so it is only $5 more a month. Not bad.

To me its well worth it, being able to sit down and enjoy what you like. And like you said its only 5 bucks so thats pretty good.
