I need to get the proper speedo gear combo for the trans I am building. On the TCI site, the largest number of drive teeth they list (for the governor gear I assume) is 13. Well, my gear has 14, i thought it was the white one, which is listed as 13 teeth, but it is kind of brownish. Anyway, 13 or 14 teeth i still come up with the orange, 35 tooth speedo gear for a 3:42 gear and a 26 in tire. My question is: do i have to buy both gears or can I just buy the orange speedo gear and be done with it? Thanks
P.S Bruce if you read this, how is the pump mod thread coming along? I realize you're probably swamped but I thought I'd just check in!
