I changed my rear to a ford 9in with 4:11 gears and I'm getting set to change the Drive and Driven speedo gears to correct the speedometer. The info I have says that the drive gears can ge removed from the transmission without taking it out of the car. Does anyone have any pictures or experience replacing these?
Thanks

Frank

PS - Please, no comments about the 4:11 vs 3:42 gears.

with 4.11 gears

and a standard size tire , you will not be able to do it with gears. You will need to run an inducer which can be purchased at a speedometer shop. That is what is going to need to be done.

I computed the ratios and I'm going to be a couple of MPH off. That's not a problem,I only plan to use the car on the street for a few months and then it will be a track only car.
