Speedometer gears

Is there a speedometer gear chart that tells you which gear to use? Ever since I put a TH350 in my Regal my speedometer has been off. I am running the stock 3:42 rear gear and 275-60-15 (28 inch) tires. Is there some way I can plug these numbers into a chart and it tell me what gear to run. I saw one somewhere once but can't remember.

Speedo gear chart

You could also get a chart from your GM parts guy. Just ask for one for g-bodies . If he knows anything, he can print one for you.

That's the problem. Most counter men don't know anything about speedometer gears...or at least act like they don't.
