speedpro and map wire???

I have my FPPErformance SEFI8LO, FAST, whatever the hell you wanna call it, with the PTE harness. I was reading that there is a map wire??? Doesnt it get the map signal from the stock harness??? The only separate wire I need to run under the hood is the injector control wire correct???

The stock ECM did not use a MAP sensor, so a new wire needs to be run. (Unless you can tap into the MAP wire for the boost gauge.)

Well the new MAP signal typically gets fed in via the existing MAF wire to the ecu (the MAF is no longer there of course) in the stock harness. Hope that helps.
