anybody tried this Spohn Pro-Touring Adjustable Rear Sway Bar from Gbody , how does it compare to HR rear bar ? I was reading here that HR bar is better then ATR rear bar that I got on my car now but how about this Sophn bar ? any clearance issues with dual 3 inch exhaust with either bar ? Sophn is $100 less then HR also ,thanks

I've spoke to a few guys that have the BMR bar and the Spohn bar on their G-bodies and both told me they wish they spent the extra $$$ on the HR bar. You get what you pay for in terms of quality and let's not forget Paul also supports this site as well as the events that Buick guys attend.

The Spohn bar will have a lower "rate" than the other bars. I have a Spohn pro-touring bar on my 72 GS built for handling. When I was purchasing it, the seller described the HR bar as a "drag bar", having a different purpose in life than a "pro touring" bar. So, I think the best bar will depend on if your goal is handling or drag racing performance.

My HR bar increased handling. I increased speed through the roundabout to work by almost 5 mph with the HR bar & HR lowers "25 to 30 mph".
