Springfield IL hangouts?

Anyone know wher the car guys hang out in Springfield? Im not real interested in racing (see my post in the kill/fish board) but its always fun to see everyone else.

From what I remember it has to be the Rock & Roll Hardees and the road that it is on.

I didn't go there a lot, I lived in Peoria and Lincoln respectively.

I like and miss Springfield. Every year we go down to stay in that real tall hotel on the North side of town on 55. Can't think of the name of it. In the summer, we try to go see the historical places. Took the kids to New Salem last year (my 3rd time there - I love that place).

Decatur has a pretty good hangout scene I believe. I think it's on Pershing. Some brutal street racers there.
