sputtering but no knock

using an smc single nozzle. jst got it on today, having a few problems. im getting knock and my o2s are in the mid 8s, low 9s. and when i turn it up it goes away but my boost drops about 2lbs, and o2s go into the 9s. when i tune the o2s for low 8s, i get knock right away. any ideas? maybe a coil pack going bad?

Too much fuel, not enough alky.

You didnt say how much boost, at what PSI your turning it on, and O2's in the 800+ are not gonna be happy.

Bet a chip change would work wonders.

you need to tune your car to run between 780-800 o2's at WOT on 93 pump gas and alky...either turn up the boost or drop the fuel...leaner is meaner and use the alky to compensate for fueling demands
