Hey guys, I know this has been discussed a time or two on here but wanted to throw it up to you guys to see where I should look next. The issue just started last weekend, I took the car out for a drive and all was well. Went to a car show and ran some errands after that. As I pulled into my neighborhood it started sputtering and missing a bit, after I got to the driveway I noticed it was idling pretty crappy. It always idled pretty good and never missed like this before. It accelerates normally until about 10-15 mph then starts bucking and missing, I haven't tried getting into boost since it's probably not the best idea with something going on. One thing I normally do but didn't this year is change plugs and wires. I ruled out the cam sensor by test driving it with the sensor unplugged, the same sputtering and missing occured. I am starting to think it may be the plugs and wires since they were not replaced this year. I know it could also be the MAF, coil pack, vacuum leaks, etc.. Do you think the plugs/wires are a good place to start after ruling out the cam sensor? I need to do them anyways so it'll kill two birds with one stone, and if it clears up then I'm all done. If the plugs and wires don't cure it, where's the next place to look? MAF? Coil pack? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

....the next place I would look at is the MAF; especially if it's still stock.

I would look at the module. That same thing happened to me. Car just fell on its face. Replaced the Module and all was back to normal. Trouble shooting from Vortex Buicks site.

OK guys just wanted to give an update/closure on the issue and throw out the next question. Borrowed a known good stock MAF and threw it on the car, it cleared right up and ran like a champ idling better than it has in a while. Also noticed with the old MAF the AF value on the Scanmaster was sitting at 8-9 at idle, which was a bit off. So it ended up being the MAF so it's Translator/new MAF time. My question is, what if any is the difference/benefit between the three MAF's out there? The 3'' LT1, the 3.5'' LS1, and the 4'' Z06, other than the diameter difference is there any benefit to one over the other? I was thinking about going with the LT1 since I can keep all the hose couplings and my K&N filter, the other two I'd have to get a new filter and the step hose. If there was a major reason to go with the larger ones I'm all ears, but from what I've seen they are all roughly the same. Any input is appreciated!
