Ok, gotta move on. You can come BACK to it later.
Uninstall. Make sure the directory is gone also (config file gone!). If feeling savy, remove any entries in the registry.
Move to ad-aware or maybe Spycop and clean your system. After its all cleaned up, you can decide what you want to use. I havent tried the regcleaning tools In a while but there are some (what OS?) out there if you cant seem to get spybot removed.
If stubborn, like me, and you want to "win" go to your config file and look for this:
_______________________
[Automation\SystemStart]
AutoRun=0
RunOnce=0
WaitStart=0
WaitPrograms=0
WaitMore=0
AutoClose=0
_______________________
Your AutoClose= is likely set to "1". This file if using XP is likely located in "C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy" and is named: "Default configuration.ini"
