say you had a 3 1/4" id silicone hose and a 3" pipe it needed to be connected to. would it be any problem to use a 3" silicone spacer. in other words : a 3" pipe to a 3" spacer/connector(3 1/4" od), then the hump(or whatever) hose. then the other side of the hump hose would go on its 3 1/4" pipe.

know what i mean ?

thanx

btw. i can't use a transition hose here, must be a hump.

nobody has done this ?

yes ive done this, not the right way but it worked. i did use some right stuff gasket maker between the 2 hoses to keep them from moving on each other.

mostly i was wondering if there would be any blown off problems, because the tension from the clamp would not fully travel through to the pipe. i think it would work. but i'm not going to try it. i found that a 3" will fit over a 3 1/4" pipe.

i ran 10.50s with 27psi on my old turbo. This coupling never gave me problems.Good luck
