Stage right shifter mod ?'s

For those who have installed a stage right, did you do the shifter mod and can you slam the shifter to drive without it going into overdrive after this is done? thanks in advance......................................Bob

hi bob,
yes ,after you install the new detent plate that comes with the kit you can just slam the shifter and it will stop in drive(third gear).

That's great. I never shift my car,always leave it in drive when racing.my stage right didn't come with a plate but it came with a template to modify the existing shift plate....Thanks for the Info Nick.......................................................................... Bob

hmmmmmmmmmmmm,were did you get your kit?i got mine from ramchargers and it came with a new plate.
