stalling ?

i have a 87 gn all stock, my problem is it stalls from time to time when i let off throttle, to stop and it did it yesterday after a boost up at a traffic light, any ideas?

Try spraying out the IAC and throttlebody with some carb cleaner also.

If it is truly all stock, it could be reversion of air back through the intake that's affecting the MAF sensor and causing it to stall. This can be cured with a modern chip. Click here and read under the "Antistall" section.

Eyupper, most modern chips will add a little extra fuel while decellerating--until a more-normal idle condition is established.

I had a Red's 93 chip in my car at purchase (years ago) & it would occasionally stall-out when getting out of the gas & coming to a stop--replaced with TTwk & no mas problemos...
