Stamped number on strut tower???

I just remembered there's a stamped number (numbers and letters) on the passanger side strut tower (see photo attached in the red circled area on the body just behind the upper strut mount) whoever after having had my engine bay repainted I can't read mine anymore with the filler, paint and clear coat filling in whatever was stamped on there from the factory.

It occured to me that whatever is stamped on there might have something to do with stuff on the buildsheets so if some of you could have a look on your TTA's and list what's stamped on there I'd like to rule out the possibility it's being a vital number of some sort ...

I looked at old photos of mine and unfortunatly I never took a photo of it all I can see looking at several photos where I partially can see that area of the strut tower it seems like it starts with Z0 then another character .... a gap .... then something (possibly 4 or 6 characters in total) ending in 72 ....

In the mean time what is the 6 digits (grouped 2 and then 4) on the id tag riveted to your upper radiator support? Just trying to see if there's a correlation with some numbers for the repro build sheets I'm working on....

You didn't happen to find a build sheet in your TTA? Some of the numbers on there is puzzling me at the moment.

numbers on rad tag are 07 2756. hope it helps.




my car is said to be #134, the tta. that s what i hear but i dont have any way of telling, can you help? ot a gn also so if questions on either pm me and ill help amap

Numbers on my son's TTA: radiator tag 13 7948
right side strut tower Z14 1072

Seems that these vary from car to car but does not correlate to the VIN

And you just thought you really wanted to know these numbers!

The radiator support tag number is part (last 6 digits) of the schedule/job number found on the build sheets so trying to understand if they are in sequence with the VIN numbers or not .... but as they also built the 3rd gen Camaro on the same assembly line I suspect they were mixed up with everything that went down the line and not just the 3d Gen Firebirds ...
