My buddy gave me a high torque mini starter that he had on a small block Chevy. My question is would there be any reason why it wouldn’t work on a lc2? I read where people used lt1 or lt4 starters so I would think it should be the same. Here is a link to the starter he gave me. Thanks https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-820323/

I have a cheepy one on mine at the moment. I had to completely remove the left side hole (as show in the link) as it interferes with the block.
I cut mine off with a hack saw. I had to shim it a bit, but works fine.
You could unbolt the mounting block from the starter and chuck it up in a Bridgeport for a more professional look. Once you hit it with a flapper disc it looks pretty good.
I don’t remember what I used for bolts. I’m thinking I used the stock ones , but not sure.

The answer is ''it depends''. Aftermarket SBC starters can get set up for oddball flexplates/flywheels and may or may not work on Buick V6s. The only way to know is to measure and try (and then measure again)
