car takes a long time to start. cranks for along time then starts up and runs fine and guesses guyz on were to start lookin?
Thanks for any ideas

i can hear the fuel pump run with key on before i go to start...but do get strong fuel smell when it does start.. could it be crank sensor?

check your fuel pressure--see if it holds pressure after shutdown. If the check-valve in the pump is bad, the lines will drain back to the tank and it'll take a long time to start! (been there done that)

Check the fuel pressure regulator for leaking, etc...

Yup, like Kevin says, check that fuel pressure holds. If not you may have a leaking injector(s). This will cause what you describe.
