hey you guys my buddy has a 78 turbo regal his ecm went bad ordered one from store and didnt work, so his running his car without one on static timing. anybody with a good known one thanks!!

a good OEM one is extremley hard to come by but its possible to find a turbo control center on here, keep askin around. make sure your not killin the engine either...:redface:

It's not an ECM, but just a spark control module called a Timing Control Center. It retards timing when it hears a knock. A factory shop manual it very worthwhile.

I don't think you will be able to order a new module anywhere.
