SignUp Now!I too am interested in the amount of work necessary to make these work. Any news on that yet? They look good though! Has anybody built an engine with this stroker crank in it? I am a customer looking to buy a stroker crank, just dont want to spend 750 and then another 200 on machine work, and 200 more on heavy metal slugs put in it to balance out.
You will probably spend at least $200 in machine work. This should be expected. You shouldnt need any slugs if these are the same or similar as the other China cranks. The counterweights have added material so they are setup for internal balancing. Mark should be able to answer this for sure. The final machining of the crank before you get it is the determining factor of how much more you will have to spend to get a crank that is ready to be assembled in the bottom end. Some were good and some were not so good over the years. This is why a lot of the vendors wont even sell cranks. They dont want the headache of people complaining about extra machining that may need to be done or problems related to installation. This a great deal on cranks anyway.
