stiff break

My car is converted over to vacuum breaks. Sometime when I go WOT and I hit the breaks they are real stiff. Is this due to lack of vacuum? Also this happens when I first start up the car. Can any thing be done about this?

I would think a vacuum storage cannister would do the trick

Summit Racing has them. First I would check to be sure your vacuum check valves are working correctly.

first check the check valve then check the vacum line to the check valve maybe to small or kinked. 3/8 id should be smallest 7/16 id,ideal
