My powermaster failed at high speed on the highway a couple of years back. After changing underwear it was time for vac brakes!Fitted Aggressive autos set up and the brakes are fantastic, better than my wife's classic Benz V8 and better than my Volvo daily driver. I also fitted all new rear drums/shoes and larger front calipers.
However, cant get any boost at the track...

I drove my Regal to work yesterday and all I can say is that the vacuum brakes SUCK. As I stated before they were installed by the previous owner and appear to be functioning correctly but in my mind they are barely safe. The pedal feel is crappy and I never know from one brake apply to the next what I going to get. It seems others have much better results but if anyone has a good working powermaster I'd be glad to trade straight across. :)

In order to have a pleasant and effective vacuum brake conversion the correct diameter bore master cylinder must be selected. A too large off the shelf selection will give poor performance.
I Do not buy the master cylinders and boosters together but separately.
