Stock 84 Fuel Pressure

What should the stk fuel pump pressure be at idle? Also, when you shut it off should the pressure slowly bleed off(starts to slowly drop about 5-7 min after shut off.

Why does everyone recommend Walbro pumps? Are they special or have a special feature for the GN's

Fuel pressure with the stock Bosch 233 regulator should be 34-40 psi static (with the vac line off).
Mine always goes down when sitting. Takes quite awhile for it to go all the way down to zero. Maybe someone else can comment on this with a better answer.
Walbro pumps, the 340 in particular, has just proven to be superior to the stocker and other in-tank pumps that fit our criteria. It flows more than enough to support just about whatever horsepower #s your shooting for, and has proven to be quite reliable.
