To be honest with you, I removed this from my car 17 years ago! I do believe it was working at that time, but I know the band that drives the cassette player was tempermental (I think I replaced the drive band). I really don't have a good way of checking it now to see if it's working. Heck, I don't even own any cassettes anymore.
If you're interested, I'll sell it for $20 + shipping which is ~$15 = $35 total.
