any way to make a stock appearing intake with a k&n 9" filter?

if there really isn;t a good way to do it then i guess i would go with the big mouth kit? you have to change the stock pipe from MAF to turbo with the big mouth kit right? if so who has the best deals on these that will fit the stock MAF sensor?

Kirban sells a bracket thatll hold up your maf and you can use the stock tubing from turbo to maf and a cone at the end.There like $15.HTH

To mount a 9" K&N Filter on the end of your factory MAF you can make a MAF Bracket that mounts on your aircleaner base.

About the largest cone K&N that will fit in the factorly housing and still look stock (from the top, atleast) is a 7" and that requires major mods. I have a 6.5" MAF and an LT1 MAF inside my stock airbox and the fragile factory MAF has become a hollow tube.

So far this set-up has gone 11.53@118 on BFGDR's with a very mild, stock appearing combo and an unmodified 90K mile longblock.

i would like to leave the stock air box in there for the look, and have a k&n down below
