Stock Chip

Hey

Im wondering if I should go back to a Stock chip. I have a aftermarket chip and I believe its causing overboosting. I believe I have 30LB injectors. Should I go back to a stock chip to stop the over boosting.

I would try taking some boost out w/ an adjustable wastegate rod.You need one if you dont have one.A boost gauge should show overboost....

Need more info. What aftermarket chip, and how much overboost are you talking about?
Could be a problem in the actuator lines, etc.

Im not really sure what kind it is but there is a sticker on it that says

But my problem is when I get on the gas really quick, the car starts spitting and sputtering. The boost just shoots up to 17 psi and the car backfires and puffs smoke. I dont have an adjustable wastegate but I do have a adjustable boost guage. Ive turned it down all the way and it still does the same
