Anyone using the stock hotair radiator and installed a electric fan with success with 160 stat? I know most seem to be going to f-body with dual fans. Anyone using the Taurus fan on stock radiator?

I have that set up. Stock rad with stock 87 electric fan and 160 stat. I have an aftermarket adjustable thermostat control for the fan turn on and off.

I am using the F Body with Tarus Fan .. the Tarus fan moves some major air

How does your car do with the stock 87 fan and stock radiator on 90 degree days?...it cool well?

Taurus fan fit stock radiator?

It is sufficient. Cruising around town and interstate is fine. Pushing it for street/strip racing allows it to creep up around 200 even with the fan on. Its never over heated though. I plan on upgrading when I have the oppertunity.

i've got a 16" Hayden universal fan with a 3 core radiator out of a Cutlass and it has no problems keeping things cool despite not really moving a lot of air.
i was going to run that fam on the stock radiator, but i couldn't find a top plate that wasn't built into the fan shroud so i swapped in the bigger Cutlass rad that i had laying around with a top plate from another Cutlass in the junkyard.. i'm pretty sure the small stock rad would have kept it cool with that fan since i had a similarly sized radiator with an electric fan out of an 86 Celebroty in my 355 powered 71 Nova and that thing never got over the thermostat temps..
