I have a completly stock motor, (see sig) and I get knock at 8-12psi. I know the gas here in west texas sucks, only 90 at the pump, its also 90-105 everyday. Even when its a cool 70 outside I get knock in closed loop. When the motor is in open loop I don't get knock. Also is my knock sensor out, because when i say i get knock i can hear it in the engine. This is the only GN I've riden in and the only stock one I've seen. What is normal on these hotairs? When i add octane booster it helps but is there something ele i can do? I raised the Fuel pressure to 40 with the line off, it runs better but the knock is the same.

I'm sorry every that has helped so far, I talked to conely and they were suppose to put a chip in when i had them do some work but it some how got comunicated wrong and they didn't. I looked at the chip and it doesn't say anything just has a orange or red sticker on it. is this the stock one? if it is I'm back to my problem, if it isn't I'll have to find a stock chip cause thats the only one i have.
thanks for helping

i'm still having trouble with the knocking. I haven't been pushing it, but i still wonder what kind of knock sensitivity do other hotairs deal with.
thanks
