oreilly auto parts sell them just order one for 87 regal 4 speed trans I had to drill out shifter end of cable

Yup, the hole is just a slight too small. Drilled mine out just enough to get it to slip onto the shifter. Nice and tight now, no sloppy:biggrin:

O'Reilly lists 5 numbers. Which one did you use?

Go to advance, they only list 2 so there will be less to choose from:biggrin: . They go by length so if they are good guys you'll be able to have them order them all adn compare your old one. OR, you can wait until tomorrow and I will try to get you the part number from my "friend" at advance.
