I was going to post this in the Drag Racing Techniques Forum, but I figured it'd get more looks here. I am just bolting the rear end back into my GN (posi at last :D ) and I am debating whether to use the Eibach lowering springs or put the stock 30K mile stockers back in. I really like the look of the Eibachs over the stockers from pictures I have seen. But I have thus far done everthing with the intent of maximizing my 60's at the track. I have pretty much everything Paul Ferry makes, Comp Engineering 3 way adjustables, S10 rear wheel cylinders, four large brake shoes out back, and on and on. I don't want to blow it all by running shocks that are too stiff. So while I suspect most will recommend that I stay with the stockers, I am wondering if anyone can offer a comparison between the Eibachs (or any stiffer lowering springs) and the stock springs at the track. Thanks for any help.

Lot's of info on the Eibachs when I do a search. I haven't seen a lot of discussion of their effect at the track though, so please comment if you can. I see UNGN did cut a 1.66 60' with them though. :)
