I just encountered this same issue. Was surprised as this is not something you expect to see with a stock stroke.

Stock on the left. Chinesium on the right.
Easy to fix. Easier to fix if you know about it from the beginning! There’s nothing in that area of the rod except empty bolt hole.

Well that's not bolt on so....
Who's rods are these?
I have a couple guesses but will wait.

They all look the same. Some are 5.96 long, mine are 5.97, some are 5.967
Cat, Scat, Eagle take your pick.

I think Molnar are genuinely different.
