Stock tranny with trans brake, will it last at 10 flat?

First, it is not a completely stock tranny. I am going to have it completely gone though. My question is it worth it to try to run this tranny at 10 flat. Will the trans brake destroy the tranny at this amount of torque, will I still be fine with it. I want to have a tranny brake, so would I need to move up to a TH400 yet. When is it necessary to move up to the TH400. TIA.
