Stock turbo info needed

With tinkering, what is the max boost I can expect from a stock turbo on an 87 GN? Also can anyone recommend a website were I can learn about different size turbos and their number designation? Thanks.

Thanks! According to the site, they say a stock turbo should be good for about 25 psi under the drag racing section. Does that sound about right? I'm only looking for 20. Also, how would I go about increasing boost? Would a grainger bring it up to 20? Or would I have to do something else? Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the RJC boost controller. When I was on a stock turbo I adjusted the WG rod and ran 24#'s all the time. I haven't had very much luck with the grainger valves but everyone else seems to love them.
