SignUp Now!You can't just "rebuild" it into a TA49. The housings must be machined to fit the TA49 parts. You can just rebuild the turbo as a stock one though.
Check the advertised special area. I believe Hartline is offering some upgraded turbos at a discount right now.

IMO I'd take advantage of this OP.
I just put a 6262 on my car and when we go the car started my buddy gave it a little gas and the motor almost hit 5k the thing revved so fast. I had to tell him twice to watch it cause we were hitting 4600rpm in park! He couldn't believe how fast these things allowed the engine to rev up.
Mind you this was also on some e85, but it was still insanely fast. I couldn't believe it.
With the 212/212 you need it to stall to about 5100 to get the most out of itTell me about it. Stalling it to 3200rpm on the foot brake coming out the hole, my rpm instantlly flashes to 4800rpm where as my stocker with nitrous would only hit 4200 or so.

When I said 5100 I mean at full boost.3200rpm is about all I can get on the foot brake with this converter. I'm going to install a trans brake next, or swap in another transmission. Was thinking of a glide since I have a core.
