Stock Upgrades..

I'm fairly new to turbos and have a 84 HA Type T. I often hear ppl talk of Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 and want to know what are the differences between each. I have a stock 231 in my garage that I'm interested in rebuilding and I'd like to perform the upgrades on this engine to minimize down time since my Buick is my favorite daily driver. Any/all help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is a "S3" engine.

The difference between the "Stock, S1 and S2" engines are;
$2,000, $10,000 and $25,000
