I was just wondering what the vacuum is for a stock car. Mine is at 13-14"hg with the car warmed up and in park @ idle. This seems a little low to me.

Hmmm...I'm starting to wonder if there is an aftermarket cam in there or if I have a leak somewhere. Could weak vavlesprings cause this also? I'm not sure if they are origional or not.

Before you go nutty, I suggest you make sure the reading/gauge is accurate. In fact, I'm willing to bet mine is off some too (beacuse of it's static reading), and is actually in the 15-16 range.

13-14 I would not worry about unless your idle is real rough then I start worrying about it.

This is a good point, I had an AutoMeter gauge bad right out of the package. Does your gauge park at "0" ?

It's at 0 in park. I'll see if I can find another gauge to strap on and check. The main reason I'm wondering is cause I wanna do a cam swap (I have a poston 107 just sitting here) but if there already is a better one in there...well that would suck to go through that and have that as a result  Anyone know the stock lift on our cams? I guess I'll just have to measure it to find out lol.
