Have the intake and valve covers off to get powder coated this winter and I'm almost ready to install it back on the car but I'm wondering what to do with the valve cover bolts/studs. There is a ton of paint on them from over the years and they are nasty. I called ARP and they can put a stud kit together for me but I was wondering what others have done. I was looking for like a black 12 point or hex type bolt(s). At this point I'd go with anything. Anyone have the secret? These are stock valve covers. Go with all studs? All bolts? Or just try to clean my old ones up best and use them? Help me out! :)

Thanks that's pretty much what I did but was'nt crazy happy with the turn out. So I found someone who sold the 12point ARP polished in packages all done up. Right after I got my order the guy passed away :( Was a great set of bolts for these engines too!

Same here! Alloyboltz. Nice stuff. You can get the stuff directly from arp but it's nice to be able to buy a kit. He was a nice guy, friendly and helpful. :( :(

Looks like the site is back up but the store is for sale! I guess the family is selling off some of the inventory and selling the bussiness. Anyone local? Great business to own! If I was closer I'd buy it up! Just so I could have access to all that shiney hardware! :)
