I am looking for a set like the ones RJC sells. They are 3/8' thick and allow for the use of roller rockers with the stock covers.

Jeff, I know how close you are to your money since I'm still in the holiday spirit I have a pair of tall valve covers you can have that i never intend to use. Come down buy me a burger & they are yours.

Thanks Lou. I would go with the aftermarket valve covers but I fail the visual smog inspection. Just having a K&N filter on the passenger side of the stock valve cover was a no no. I had to get creative to install the setup that comes off the turbo back to the valve cover.

Yeah Jeff, that was an obvious felony you have to make as much as possible look stock. The valve cover extensions aren't a bad way to go anyways & a step in the right direction. Is your EGR system working the way to test that is run the car with the rear wheels off the ground in gear & when you open the throttle slightly if everything is working correctly you should feel the EGR valve lift with you finger. If not the first thing to make sure is that you have a chip that the EGR circuit isn't shut off. Call me if you have any problems I know you horsepower mechanics haven't concerned yourselves with this silly stuff in the past but with the communists take over of this country in full swing its a new day.

I will check the EGR. My car has HC issues at the lower RPM range (I think they came in at 135 ppm) on the smog machine.

WHATS A "SMOG INSPECTION"?

is that something like SENIOR MOMENT for OLD GUYS?

DAM, YOU GUYS ARE REALLY OLD!
